Two men were lynched in Jharkhand Wednesday after they were accused of stealing cattle.&nbsp

The killings took place in Jharkhand's Godda district.&nbsp

The two victims were identified by police as Jirafuddin Ansari (35) and Murtaza Miyan (30) from Taljhari village in Godda.&nbsp

A video of one of the victims slung from a bamboo pole had gone viral on social media.&nbsp

News reports quoted police as saying Ansari and Miyan had previous cases of cattle theft lodged against them.&nbsp

The reports quoted police as saying five men been accused of stealing 13 buffaloes from Bankatti village.&nbsp

The men were later caught by Bankatti villagers in Taljhari village.&nbsp

The reports said three of the men managed to escape but Ansari and Miyan were caught and lynched.&nbsp
