<p>US billionaire Elon Musk has struck back after not being invited to the UK government's International Investment Summit.</p>

<p>Musk did not get the invitation due to his social media posts during last month’s riots, according to the BBC.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I don’t think anyone should go to the UK when they’re releasing convicted pedophiles in order to imprison people for social media posts," Musk posted on X.</p>

<p>Musk's remarks came, noting that, earlier this month, the UK government released some prisoners to handle the overcrowding, however, no sex offenders were included.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In an effort to combat overcrowding in the prison, around 1,750 inmates were released early from jails in England and Wales earlier this month.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Later, following the rioting across the country last month, some people were jailed for encouraging unrest on social media.</p>

<p>The government's plan to alleviate the overcrowding led to several problems. Hundreds of prisoners were freed without tags despite the devices being a condition of their release, and another prisoner was accused of sexually assaulting a woman on the day he was freed. &nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the scheme, criminals serving prison sentences of less than four years for violent offenses, including manslaughter, are among those eligible to be freed.&nbsp;</p>

We hope our relationship will strengthen furthermore. Being in the same continent, being in Asia, we have discussed so many opportunities especially energy, we hope to pursue. Saudi Arabia will host it and we will be sharing our experience with India as well as with other countries.
