Following the Prime Minister's informal summit with Chinese and Russian president, <a href="http://www.wionews.com/south-asia/pm-modi-bangladesh-pm-sheikh-hasina-to-inaugurate-bangladesh-bhawan-in-west-bengal--134824">PM Modi is now all set to meet Bangladeshi counterpart </a>Sheikh Hasina.

The two leaders will meet in the university-town of Santiniketan in West Bengal on Friday.

This would be their second meeting in less than two months. The two leaders met in London in April, on the sidelines of the Commonwealth summit.

The Bangladesh prime minister will attend the convocation at Visva-Bharati University and, along with Prime Minister Modi, inaugurate the Bangladesh Bhavan in Santiniketan.

The Bhawan will enclose a collection of books published in Bangladesh and will also include a museum to showcase the country's fight for freedom from West Pakistan.

This would be PM Modi's first visit to the university after assuming its " acharya" or chancellor. The University recognises the Prime Minister&nbsp;of the nation as its chancellor while the President as its "paridarshaka" (visitor), who appoints the vice-chancellor.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee may also show her presence at the event.

The meeting between PM Modi, Sheikh Hasina and Mamata Banerjee is expected to discuss issues such as Teesta water sharing dispute. The river which flows through West Bengal and Bangladesh is a bone of contention between the two regions.&nbsp;In India, water is a state subject, which means that the federal government shall refer to the provincial government. Therefore, the Mamata-Hasina talks become that much more crucial for the resolution of the Teesta waters issue.

If Mamata Banerjee relents, it would come as a shot in the arm for Sheikh Hasina as elections are due in Bangladesh in a few months' time.

Bangladesh may also press&nbsp;India to get Myanmar to take back the Rohingya refugees.

Also, Dhaka would welcome all financial help it can get, particularly from India, to ensure that the Rohingyas get food, shelter and medical facilities.

On the second and last day of the informal summit, the two leaders were seen riding on a houseboat and chatting over tea - a `chai pe charcha` moment.

The East Lake, a large freshwater lake in Wuhan city, is the largest urban lake in China. It is one of the most popular tourist sites in the country, with over a million visiting the lake annually.

This will be followed by a private lunch hosted by the Chinese President in honour of Prime Minister Modi.Prime Minister Modi is on a two-day visit to China to participate in an unprecedented `informal` summit with President Xi, which is expected to reset the bilateral ties between the two Asian giants, which took a hit post the two-month-long Doklam standoff last year.

Modi will leave for India on Saturday.&nbsp;

"It is quite possible that they might talk about their views of how each of their countries is going to develop in the coming 15 or 20 years," Gautam Bambawale, Indian ambassador to China, said.

The last time PM Modi had met President Xi was in China's eastern city of Xiamen for the BRICS summit. This time the two leaders will&nbsp;engage in "candid dialogue" over pressing issues, however, no official statement or MoU will be signed by either country over the next two days during the summit.

The Indian ambassador conceded that there would be "no set agenda for their talks", although the two leaders might take a boat ride or walk in the park at Wuhan.&nbsp;

"They might talk about the current world situation and in what directions the world is progressing. They might talk about how India views China and how China views India," the Indian ambassador said.

The ambassador added that the Modi and Xi will meet in an informal, friendly setting as they discuss various issues. &nbsp;&nbsp;

"When two leaders of big countries meet, then they don’t talk about specific micro issues,"&nbsp;Bambawale said, adding,"India, China will be&nbsp;setting a new trend with the informal meeting."
