The &nbsp;All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) have demanded a blanket ban on Pakistani artists, diplomats working in India. The demand comes after Pakistan banned the screening of Indian films on Thursday. 
 
"In relation to Pakistani government banning Indian movies in Pakistan AICWA urges all the film industries to put a complete stop to any association with Pakistani artists, musician, and diplomats," read the statement released by the AICWA. 
 
The AICWA demanded a strict "say no to Pakistan" policy for trade and bilateral relation. 
 
"Entire film industry and cine workers have refused to resume work till there is a complete ban of Pakistani movie makers, artists, and trade partner," the statement read.

Tensions escalated between the two countries after India scrapped Article 370 and 35A in Jammu and Kashmir.

Cine Workers Association demands blanket ban on Pakistani artists in India

Former cricketer Gautam Gambhir, who <a href="https://www.wionews.com/photos/gautam-gambhirs-successful-debut-in-political-innings-221074#support-by-fellow-cricketers-220998">won the Lok Sabha 2019 election</a> from East Delhi constituency, said losing two points by not playing against Pakistan is nothing compared to lives of our soldiers. &nbsp;

"We can’t play with the sentiments of our country," he told Zee News Hindi when asked if India should play the World Cup match against Pakistan.&nbsp;

"Two points are not important than the lives of our soldiers but for this, the entire country needs to be on&nbsp;the same page. We should have the courage to lose points even it's the first match or the finals," he added.&nbsp;

"Even if we boycott playing the World Cup final against Pakistan, the country must stand together, there can't be a difference of opinions," said Gambhir.&nbsp;

"There should not be any backlash for the decision taken," the former India opening batsman added.&nbsp;

In the wake of the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed, there have been calls for a complete cricketing boycott against Pakistan.&nbsp;

India and Pakistan have not played a full bilateral series after the Mumbai terror attacks in November 2008.&nbsp;

Reflecting on the same, Gambhir said, "There should not any conditional ban on Pakistan. If we want to play against Pakistan than it should be in every format as there's no room for conditional bans."&nbsp;

"Either we should ban Pakistan from all the formats or the should play cricket or other sports in all formats," he added. &nbsp;

India will play two warm-up matches against New Zealand and Bangladesh on May 25 and May 28 respectively before starting their World Cup campaign against South Africa on June 6.&nbsp;

The team is scheduled to play Pakistan on June 16 during the World Cup.&nbsp;

Ahead of the World Cup, Gambhir wished the Indian cricket team all the best. He said, "In 2011, we won the Cup and now again we have a chance to bring the Cup back."&nbsp;

Gambhir was part of the 2007 T20 World Cup winning squad and played a key role in India's triumph in the 2011 World Cup.&nbsp;

There is no bigger achievement than representing your country in the World Cup and I wish that the Cup comes back in India, he added.&nbsp;

India and Pakistan accused each other of ceasefire violations in several areas across the Line of Control (LoC) between the two countries.

A 60-year-old woman, Rasheeda Bi, and a soldier, Bimal Tamang,&nbsp;were killed in unprovoked shelling by Pakistani troops in the Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir, international news agency Reuters and indian news agency PTI quoted the Indian Army as saying. Two other soldiers were also injured in the incident, the Indian Army said.

Rasheeda Bi&#39;s 22-year-old daughter, Najma, was injured in the shelling targeting Mendhar&#39;s Goulad village in Poonch district, police told PTI. Rasheeda Bi is the second woman from&nbsp;Goulad village in Balakote sector to die from&nbsp;Pakistani shelling. On October 28&nbsp;a 50-year-old woman, Usma Bi, was killed in shelling by Pakistani troops.

Meanwhile, Pakistan daily Dawn reported that&nbsp;Pakistan claimed&nbsp;four people, including a woman, were killed and six injured in &quot;unprovoked firing&quot; by the Indian Army along the LoC.&nbsp;

&ldquo;Indian troops have yet again resorted to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control in Nakyal, Jandrot and Kel sectors,&rdquo; said a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The ISPR statement added that Pakistani troops &ldquo;befittingly responded and targeted Indian posts&rdquo;.

A government official from Nakyal told Dawn that there had been intense shelling since 8 am, with Indian troops using both small and heavy arms.

Zeeshan Nisar, Naykal&#39;s assistant commissioner,&nbsp;also said that at least three men and a woman were killed by Indian fire. &ldquo;Since the shelling is continuing, we are unable to collect all details, I am afraid there might be more casualties,&rdquo; he said.

 
Over 30 injured in more clashes&nbsp;

In separate clashes&nbsp;between security forces and officials in a village in Kashmir&#39;s Pulwama district, over 30 people were injured on Monday, PTI reported.&nbsp;

Three security force officers were also injured, in clashes&nbsp;which erupted shortly after the police, the Indian Army and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) cordoned off Rohomu village for house-to-house searches, officials said. Residents took to the streets and started protesting, leading to confrontations.

Officials told PTI that security forces had to fire dozens of teargas shells and use pellet guns to restore normalcy, resulting in&nbsp;clashes.

The residents, however, alleged that the clashes erupted after security forces started roughing up locals and smashing window panes of the houses and windscreens of parked vehicles.

Clashes between security forces and the people in Kashmir have intensified after the kiling of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani in July.
