<p>He said, "A bomb threat mail was sent to three reputed hotels, including The Ottera in the city. Teams of the Bomb Squad and Police are currently at The Ottera hotel."&nbsp;</p>

<p>The bomb threat came in the backdrop of the Rameshwaram cafe bomb blast. The arrest of suspected bombers revealed that they wanted to target software companies and techies in Bengaluru.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Notably, one of the hotels was reportedly in the middle of the tech corridor, beside a technology park housing many IT companies in Electronics City.&nbsp;</p>

<p>They said the suspension was not enough for the offence he had committed, demanding the nursing officer's immediate termination from service.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to Mittal, they also asked for the suspension of assistant nursing superintendent ANS Sinoj who had put the nursing officer on duty.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"In our study, we have identified a novel PHB2-Hsp70A1A receptor ligand pair that helps the parasite gain<a href="https://www.indiatoday.in/science/story/malaria-alert-mosquitoes-on-the-move-as-temperature-rises-globally-2411508-2023-07-25" target="_blank"> </a>infection inside the human host.<a href="https://www.indiatoday.in/science/story/malaria-alert-mosquitoes-on-the-move-as-temperature-rises-globally-2411508-2023-07-25" target="_blank"> </a>The parasite protein PHB2 is therefore a potent vaccine candidate," Prof. Shailja Singh told India Today.</p>

<p>Prohibitins are a family of proteins that play essential roles in various cellular functions, including mitochondrial activity and regulating the cell cycle.</p>

<p>The researchers found that the PfPHB2 protein on the merozoite surface interacts with the heat-shock protein Hsp70A1A on the surface of red blood cells. Remarkably, treatment with antibodies disrupted this interaction, stopping parasite growth completely. Moreover, antibodies against PfPHB2 were found in patients with active malaria in the Tripura region, an area where malaria is endemic.</p>

<p>"The presence of the PfPHB2 antibodies is a promising turning point towards malaria therapeutic development," said Manisha Marothia, a Ph.D. student and the first author of the study.&nbsp;Professors Anand and Shailja expressed their commitment to eliminating malaria, stating, "As scientists, our aspiration towards malaria elimination has never stopped and never will."</p>

<p>The research was briefly interrupted by the Covid pandemic, which led to an increase in cases and deaths.</p>

We have a lot to learn from India because you have so many cultural, and religious differences but you are all united in one big idea of India becoming a huge economic power." "We spoke about the idea of spiritual democracies like going a bit further when you just not judge on the moral laws, but you also go a bit deeper and you go on spiritual laws," she explained.
