India's total coronavirus cases have risen to 97,96,770 with 29,398 new COVID-19 infections reported in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday.

India witness biggest spike in coronavirus cases for the third consecutive day. 6,767 cases were recorded on Sunday bringing the tally to 1,31,868, whereas, the death toll due to virus surged to 3,867 after 147 deaths were recorded in 24-hours, according to the Union Health Ministry.
