<p>The Income Tax Department on Friday (Nov 10) carried out raids in the Indian state of Rajasthan. According to the news agency ANI, the raids were underway at the Ganpati Plaza in the capital city of Jaipur.&nbsp;</p>

<p>ANI reported that in the first phase of the raids, two lockers were cut open and a huge amount of cash was recovered from one of the lockers inside the plaza. A sack full of currency notes was found in a second locker and counting was on.</p>

<p>Meena, a Rajya Sabha MP, demanded that the police should open these lockers. He claimed that 50 of these lockers were functional and 10 belonged to some officials.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He further alleged that black money made from the Congress-led state government through the recruitment paper leak scam, the state information technology department scam and the Jal Jeevan Mission scam was there in these lockers.&nbsp;</p>
