<p>A 31-year-old M.Sc. Physics student at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the sixth floor of the Lecture Hall Complex on the institute’s campus on Saturday morning, police said. Deputy commissioner of police (southwest) Amit Goel said that at around 8:33 am on Saturday, the police control room received a call regarding a student who jumped from the sixth floor of the Lecture Hall Complex at the IIT Delhi campus. The call was transferred to Kishangarh police station because the campus falls under its territorial jurisdiction.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>“A police team rushed to the scene, and the injured person was shifted to the IIT Delhi campus hospital, where the attending doctor declared him brought dead. During the enquiry, the dead person, aged 31, was identified as a student of the M.Sc. He reportedly took a lift to the sixth floor and jumped from the front side of the building towards the Lecture Hall Complex. An IIT Delhi official, requesting anonymity, said, “A tragic incident has happened. The Delhi Police are investigating the incident.” DCP Goel said, “During the enquiry conducted so far, no apparent injury marks other than those attributable to the fall have come to notice. No suicide note has been found. A mobile phone was recovered from the pocket of the deceased and will be examined as per due procedure.”</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>“The counselling records and other relevant information from the institute are being obtained, and the facts are being verified. Further legal action is being taken as per law,” he added.</p><h2>Second alleged suicide at IIT Delhi since March</h2><p>The incident is the second alleged suicide at the IIT Delhi campus since March. In the earlier incident, a 19-year-old first-year BTech student died by suicide at his apartment inside the campus. A day after that incident, police registered a case of abetment of suicide and began an investigation. Police are now examining the circumstances surrounding Saturday’s death, including the student’s counselling records and other relevant information from the institute.</p>

These three categories were measured based on several indicators, such as environmental research, sustainability education, equality, employability, and health and well-being. <p>The body of the woman, Manjula Devak, was found hanging at her flat around 7.38 pm, police said.</p>

<p>Her husband and in-laws stay in Bhopal.</p>

<p>She got married in 2013 and an inquiry by a sub-divisional magistrate will be carried out, police said.</p>

<p>Her friends were being questioned. No suicide note has been found.</p>

The AMU spokesperson said that the matter has been brought to their notice and their IT department is looking into the issue, PTI said.&nbsp;The hacking took social media by storm with Twitter abuzz with the news.</p>

The IIT-BHU(www.iitbhu.ac.in) website was finally restored after 10pm&nbsp;(local time)&nbsp;as IT departments of various varsities&nbsp;grappled with the sudden hacking leading to widespread disruption.</p>

<p>Several social media sites reported the page displayed &quot;Pakistan Zindabad&quot;(long live Pakistan) when it was hacked earlier. The screenshot of the homepage of several&nbsp;varsities&nbsp;went viral on social media.</p>

<p>Other websites which were&nbsp;hacked today included:&nbsp;University of Kota, Army Institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida, Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Army Institute of Management, Kolkata, National Aerospace Laboratories and Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), PTI reported.</p>
