<p>India's union health minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said today that several health workers in Delhi including paramedics, nurses, field workers, doctors have been affected with <a href="https://www.wionews.com/india-news/indian-organisations-across-the-world-pledge-support-to-pm-modi-in-fight-against-coronavirus-pandemic-295262">coronavirus </a>which was a worrying factor.</p>

<p>"Currently, there are around hundred hotspots in Delhi, this number should go down," the health minister said, adding," according to experts, we need to increase the periphery of sealed areas in Delhi to fight the virus better."</p>

<p>"For the last 14 days, our doubling rate is 8.7, while for the last 7 days, it is 10.2 days. In last 3 days, it is 10.9 days roughly," Dr Harsh Vardhan informed.</p>

<p>"No fresh case were reported in 80 districts since last the last seven days. In 47 districts, no case has been reported in last 14 days, while 39 districts have not reported a case since last 21 days," the minister said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Rajasthan reported seven new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours from Jaipur and Jodhpur taking the number of COVID-19 cases in the state to 2,335.</p>

<p>As the cases continued to rise, Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Modi has requested the development of an app with the best "strategies" to contain the coronavirus pandemic.</p>

<p>In Haryana, the total number of coronavirus cases stands at 304, out of which 218 have been discharged.</p>

<p>In Karnataka, eight new coronavirus cases were reported in the last 24 hours with the total number of cases rising to 520.</p>

<p>India had offered evacuation of citizens of all neighbouring countries from Wuhan, the epicentre of the coronavirus.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Speaking in the upper house of the Indian Parliament, India's external affairs minister S Jaishankar said, "Regarding the question on Pakistan, at the time when our two flights were going, we had told all the students and the larger community in Wuhan that we were prepared not only to bring back Indians stuck in Wuhan but bring back all the people of our neighbouring countries who would like to come back."</p>

<p>Adding, "This was an offer which was made to all our neighbours. But of them, 7 nationals of Maldives chose to avail of the offer, I would like the honourable members to know the offer was made to all the neighbouring countries."</p>

<p>India had evacuated 654 passengers from Wuhan on January 31 and &nbsp;February 1 which included 7 Maldivian citizens and one Bangladeshi citizen. ITBP, which is hosting one of the quarantine camps for the evacuees, confirmed that all foreign nations have tested negative for the virus that has killed more than 600 in China.</p>

<p>While it has been confirmed no offer came from Pakistan, the foreign ministry has said, if the situation arises, it can look into it.</p>

It has also been confirmed 6 Indians are on board the quarantined cruise ship Diamond Princesses, off the coast of Japan. Around 3700 people on the ship with 61 confirmed with Wuhan Coronavirus.</p>

On evacuation of Pakistani students from Wuhan, EAM says was prepared to bring back everyone from the neighbourhood

<p>The health minister also informed the Rajya Sabha that a buffer stock of equipment and N95 mask are being maintained by various state governments as well as the Centre.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"As of now, 1035 samples have been tested, 20 are under process, 3 are found positive while remaining are found negative," he said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The minister also said that the government of India is in constant touch with the World Health Organisation.&nbsp;</p>
