A&nbsp;woman in the US state of Texas&nbsp;has set the record for the largest donation of breastmilk by an individual by donating over 2,600 litres of breastmilk. The 36-year-old previously broke the same record in 2014 after donating 1,569.79 litres of breastmilk.

Alyse Ogletree made all her donations to Mothers' Milk Bank in North Texas, a total measuring 2,645.58 litres as of July 2023. She has also donated beyond this record but it was not counted. She said her favourite thing about this is knowing that she is helping other people.

“I have a big heart,” she told the Guinness World Records. “At the end of the day, I’m not made of money and I can’t give away money to good causes over and over because I have a family I have to support for.”

Alyse found out she was overproducing and throwing it away after she gave birth to her first son Kyle, now 14. She started donating breast milk in 2010 after she learned how to from a nurse.

“Our first child, Kyle, was in the hospital, and I was filling the nurses’ freezer. A nurse asked if I was donating, which I didn’t know was possible, and that is when I learned about it.”

Alyse has two more children, Kage, 12, and Kory, seven. Additionally, she has been a surrogate for another.

She broke the record for the first time when she submitted her application after donating when she had her daughter Kage. She continued donating following the birth of her youngest and when she became a surrogate mother.

“It’s one of the best feelings in the world,” she said.&nbsp;

Alyse wishes to make other women aware of donating breast milk as they may be able to help other mothers and their babies. She has never been diagnosed with any condition to explain her overproducing, however, she explained she was well-hydrated, had a healthy diet and maintained a consistent pumping schedule.

“Alyse Ogletree has astounded and inspired us once again through her remarkable commitment to donate an incomprehensible amount of surplus breastmilk to fragile infants. Her life-saving efforts are an undeniable testament to her extraordinary generosity and compassion,” said Shaina Starks executive director of Mothers’ Milk Bank of North Texas.

In India's Madhya Pradesh, the city of Indore has set an amazing green record by planting over 1.2 million (12 lakhs) saplings within 24 hours on Saturday (Jul&nbsp;13).&nbsp;

The record has been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records under the title "Most trees planted by a team within 24 hours" announced a consultant working with Guinness World Records.

<h2>India's cleanest country</h2>

Indore has been declared the nation's cleanest city six times in a row. The record-breaking sapling plantation drive further reinforces the city's commitment to environmental sustainability.&nbsp;

Speaking to news agency ANI, Nishchal Barot, Guinness World Record Consultant said that the city has set a world record.

"More than 12 lakh trees were planted in Indore within 24 hours. The title of this Guinness world record was 'Most trees planted by a team within 24 hours'."

He said that the team started their record-making attempt on July 13 at 7:03 pm, and it continued till 7:03 pm on July 14.&nbsp;

<h2>Where were the saplings planted?</h2>

The tree saplings have been planted in the Revati Range plantation, which was divided into 9 zones and 100 sub-zones.&nbsp;

Amazingly, Indore broke the previous record in merely 22 hours. The whole plantation drive was monitored through 100 cameras.

"The good thing is that Indore broke the old record at 5 pm. Assam held the old record for planting 9,26,000 trees in 24 hours. The record was broken at 5 pm and a new record was made," said Barot.

"Then the counting started and then we got to know that more than 12 lakh trees had been planted. The numbers will be released later," he said, adding that the final record certificate will come from London.

"However, we have handed the certificate of the new world record to CM Mohan Yadav. Right now, a provisional certificate is being given. After the final numbers, the certificate will come from London, in which numbers will be mentioned that by this number, the record is being broken," said the Guinness World Record Consultant.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister on X congratulated the team and said, "Inspired by our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and with the honourable presence of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah ji, Madhya Pradesh has proudly achieved this remarkable feat, conveying a powerful message of nature conservation and dedicated service to Mother Earth."

The system was planned in order to address a number of problems, including a precarious public transit system that could not cope with growing user demands, the high cost in time and money of traveling between La Paz and El Alto, chaotic traffic with its subsequent environmental and noise pollution, and a growing demand for gasoline and diesel fuel, which are subsidized by the state.

The electrically powered silent cable cars have built-in wifi and panoramic views of the Andes. The company Mi Teleferico has also released a mobile application for Android and Apple with information about existing and future lines.

Currently, about 159,000 passengers commute&nbsp;through the system in a day, and it aiming to achieve&nbsp;the goal of 300,000 when all the stations are fully built.
