Ver.di, the union representing Lufthansa's ground staff, has gone on a one-day strike on Wednesday (Feb 6), in a bid for higher wages. The strike which started at 4 am, is expected to last 27 hours, and will affect airports in Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, and Düsseldorf.

The incident took place on October 15. An airline employee who tried to intervene and shot a video of the incident has been fired by the airline, reports said
