<p>The Delhi High Court has asked the Election Commission of India to pass a detailed order stating reasons&nbsp;for their decision of <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/nitish-kumar-led-jdu-gets-control-over-arrow-party-symbol-24459" target="_blank">recognising the Nitish Kumar led </a><a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/nitish-kumar-led-jdu-gets-control-over-arrow-party-symbol-24459" target="_blank">faction</a><a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/nitish-kumar-led-jdu-gets-control-over-arrow-party-symbol-24459" target="_blank"> of JD(U)</a>.</p>

<p>The ECI has to submit by Thursday the date by which they can pass such an order.</p>

<p>The Delhi High Court&#39;s order has come in response to a plea filed by JD(U) MLA Chhotu Bhai Vasava.</p>

<p>Vasava had challenged the ECI&#39;s order on the party symbol.</p>

<p>The Election Commission had earlier recognised&nbsp;Janta Dal United&#39;s faction led by Nitish Kumar.</p>

<p>The commission had also approved them to use the arrow symbol.</p>

<p>EC had&nbsp;rejected the plea filed by Chhotubhai Amarsang Vasava to recognise his group as real JD(U). He is the working president of the JD(U) faction led by Sharad Yadav.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The plea was filed to get claim over the party and its election symbol.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The EC had released an order stating that&nbsp;the group led by Kumar &quot;has demonstrated overwhelming majority support&quot; in the legislature wing as well as the majority in the national council of the party.</p>
