Nevertheless, she asserted that it is in America's interest to fulfil its "long standing role of global leadership" and characterized her and President Joe Biden's commitment to NATO as "sacred" and "ironclad."

Her remarks come in the wake of former US President Donald Trump's questioning of the NATO military alliance's value and his recent comments suggesting he would encourage Russia to attack allies that do not spend enough on defence.

In light of the development, the nation’s National Institution for Nutrition in January called on people to switch to eating chicken feet, which are normally given to dogs and cats and considered a cheap source of protein.

The order triggered a massive outcry amongst the citizens who couldn’t believe that their government would ask them to resort to foods considered to be symbols of extreme poverty in the country.
