<p>As the mystery of multiple drone sightings deepened in New Jersey, Senator Andy Kim decided to go on a drone patrol along with the local police.</p>

<p>Professor Michael Clarke, visiting professor in the Department of War Studies at King’s College, London told The Daily Telegraph: "This isn’t revolutionary, but it is different. Drones have existed for a very long time, but when you think about them in the Afghanistan war [for example], they existed in small numbers because people thought of them as airplanes without pilots, and most were almost as big as that."</p>

<p>He also noted how the West was “very slow to cop to the idea that much smaller, cheaper drones could be used as weapons, and in numbers, that’s the point. Not three or four, [but] 40 or 50 potentially.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>Clarke said that he believes&nbsp;it is a matter that only underlines how the soldiers of the future won’t necessarily need simply “belligerence and the ability to carry their luggage across the Brecon Beacons in terrible weather.” He added, that as the enemy unleashes the drones of war, they’ll need to be technically proficient.</p>

<p>The light show, which featured 7,598&nbsp;drones, was held in celebration of the 72nd anniversary of the&nbsp;Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture&nbsp;in the&nbsp;Jilin&nbsp;province in China.</p>

<p>The aerial display took place on September 3 and became the largest aerial image formed by multirotors/drones.</p>

<p>In this aerial show, the number of drones was more than double the record set previously which was 3,191.</p>

<p>The drones continued to move across the sky and form images of The Great Wall Of China and a majestic dragon. The drones also paid tribute to the unique culture of Yanbian by creating images of the city flower - Azalea - and traditional dancers.</p>

<p>As per the guidelines, the drones had to keep the images in the sky for at least 20 seconds. However, they managed to hold the record-breaking tiger image for 37 seconds.</p>
