Veteran actor Mohanlal will receive the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award on September 23, 2025, at the he 71st National Film Awards for his immense contribution in the Indian cinema. Instituted in 1969, this award is named after Dhundiraj Govind Phalke (the father of Indian cinema).
