<p>The Central <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/cbse-papers-leak-delhi-high-court-hears-pil-for-court-monitored-probe-127803">Board of Secondary Education</a>(CBSE) today said it will not conduct re-examination of class X Maths paper.</p>

<p>Earlier, the&nbsp;Delhi High Court had asked the board about its plans to re-conduct the class 10 Maths exams&nbsp;which was allegedly leaked.</p>

<p>The HRD Ministry had said last week that if required the class X Maths paper would be conducted in Delhi-NCR in July.</p>

<p>The CBSE class 12 economics paper would be held on April 25, the HRD ministry had declared last week.</p>

<p>The Delhi Police conducted raids at a coaching centre in New Delhi's Rajinder Nagar in connection with the CBSE Class X and Class XII exam paper leak, reports said on Thursday.</p>

<p>The CBSE, in a complaint to the Delhi Police, said that it received a fax on 23 March naming a person who ran a coaching institute in Sector 8, Rajinder Nagar as the person responsible for the exam paper leak, reported ANI.</p>

<p>Police were trying to establish the trail — who leaked the paper, how was it transmitted and who were the beneficiaries, special commissioner of police (crime branch) RP Upadhyaya said.</p>

<p>“We have no information that CBSE paper leak is pan-India, but if such a thing emerges, we will send teams outside Delhi,” Upadhyaya said.</p>

<p>The officer also said that they have not questioned any official from any of the examination centres or from the board. The questioning will happen once the source of the messages is traced.</p>

<p>Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) R P Upadhyay and Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Alok Kumar also held a meeting with Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik in the evening to discuss the future course of investigation.</p>

<p>The cases were registered on charges of criminal breach of trust, cheating and criminal conspiracy.</p>

<p>A special investigation team comprising two deputy commissioners of police, four assistant commissioners of police and five inspectors has been set up to investigate the matter. The team will be directly supervised by the joint commissioner of police (crime).</p>

<p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Union human resource development minister Prakash Javadekar on Wednesday, calling for strict action against paper leaks in keyboard examinations.</p>

<p>Reports about the economics paper being leaked had circulated on social media, including on WhatsApp, several hours before the paper commenced on Monday.<br />
The CBSE, however, denied any leak and urged students and parents not to panic.</p>

<p>"We have checked with all exam centres and the paper was not leaked. The source of circulation of this information is not known yet. We want to urge the students and parents to not panic and assure them that the board is doing its best to ensure sanctity of the examination," a senior CBSE official had said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Monday, panic had gripped students of Class 12 following claims on social media that the economics paper had been leaked even though the Central Board of Secondary Education denied there was any slip-up.</p>

<p>Dates for the re-examination of the Class 10 mathematics and Class 12 economics papers would be posted on the CBSE website within a week, the circular said.</p>

<p>On March 15, the Delhi Government had said it had received complaints of the Class 12 CBSE accountancy paper being leaked.The government had ordered a probe, even as the board denied any leak.</p>
