A school in Chennai run by Rajnikanth wife&#39;s has been locked up by the landlord.&nbsp;

The landlord says the school has not paid him rent.&nbsp;

In return, PTI reported, the school authorities have decided to file a defamation case against the landlord for causing &quot;immense agony to the school and issuing false statements to the media&quot;.&nbsp;

It added that the 400 children of the Ashram school, run by Latha Rajnikanth, have subsequently been shifted to another institution.&nbsp;

PTI reported that the landlord, Venkateshwaralu, claims the school management had agreed -- as per a court directive -- to pay the rent till the vacate the premises next year but that they had not done so.&nbsp;

It added the management as claiming it has faced lot of harassment from the landlore in the recent past due to a &quot;family dispute&quot;.
