French serial killer Charles Sobhraj, who is believed to have killed more than 20 western backpackers in the 1970s and 1980s has returned to France after spending nearly two decades behind bars in Nepal.

French serial killer Charles Sobhraj, also known as the 'Bikini Killer', has been released from a Nepali jail on Friday (Dec 23). As per an AFP report, Sobhraj was being transferred to the immigration detention centre ahead of his deportation to France.
