<p>Former UK prime minister and Conservative Party politician Boris Johnson is set to become father for the eighth time. Carrie Johnson, the wife of former British prime minister took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy. She said the baby would arrive "in just a few weeks".&nbsp;</p>

<p>The announcement comes just days after the former Tory prime minister purchased a nine-bedroom mansion with a three-sided moat in Oxfordshire, worth 3.8 million pounds.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In an Instagram post, she shared a picture of herself holding hands with her two children. She wrote, "New team member arriving in just a few weeks. I've felt pretty exhausted for much of the last 8 months but we can't wait to meet this little one. Wilf is v excited about being a big brother again and has been chattering about it nonstop. Don't think Romy has a clue what's coming…She soon will!''</p>

<p>UK PM Boris Johnson's father Stanley confirmed on Thursday that he was seeking French citizenship just when free movement of Britons was coming to an end thanks to Brexit deal delivered by his own son. Speaking to France's RTL radio, he asserted that he was French.</p>

<p>It's not a question of becoming French. If I understand correctly I am French! My mother was born in France, her mother was completely French as was her grandfather.</p>

<p>"For me it's a question of obtaining what I already have and I am very happy about that," the 80-year-old added.</p>

<p>Boris Johnson's father was among the first civil servants appointed to Brussells after Britain joined the European Union in 1973. He initially campaigned against UK leaving the European Union but changed his mind after Britain voted to leave EU in 2016 vote.</p>
