<p>The people who had gathered to watch whales on a beach in California, United States were left horrified after an alien-look blood-red sea creature washed up.</p>

<p>A post was shared giving details of the intertidal terror which made an appearance on the beach on the social media platform Instagram.</p>

<p>“What is this creature right out of the Twilight Zone?,” asked the cetacean searchers, as they spoke about the creepy-looking creature which suddenly appeared in Monterey, as reported by Jam Press.</p>

<p>“We found it just hanging out on our dock this morning and we gently scooped it up with some cardboard and carefully put it back in the water,” said one of the whale watchers, while speaking to the outlet.</p>
