Assam set a global record on Thursday (April 13) by performing the Bihu dance with 11,304 dancers and drummers at a single venue, according to Chief Minister of the state Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Assam is making a major push to break the world record for the biggest Bihu performance at the Rongali Bihu festivities to be held in April by holding workshops in all 31 of its districts.
