According to scientists, this behaviour kept male grizzly bears at a distance so they could not cause any danger to their cubs. As per the beliefs of a few people, male grizzlies tend to kill cubs to bring the mother into heat. &nbsp;

A report by AP said that the bear was with a cub when she got hit by the vehicle. However, the identity of the&nbsp;cub, believed to be safe,&nbsp;is unknown.&nbsp;

Angi Bruce, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Director said, "Wildlife vehicle collisions and conflict are unfortunate. We are thankful the driver is okay and understand the community is saddened to hear that grizzly bear 399 has died."&nbsp;

People were disheartened after knowing the news, more than 1000 people commented and showed their love for the bear. They gave her the title of a legend, a queen, and also an ambassador for grizzly bears. Some of the fans of the grizzly bear were heartbroken, and few also expressed concerns about her cubs.

In a separate incident, a 17-year-old bear that killed a jogger in the northern region of Trento was initially sentenced to death but was later captured, receiving a stay of execution.
