The official death toll in the deadly anti-Hijab protests in Iran has risen to 41. Iran Human Rights association said that nearly a dozen more than the actual number have died in the protests that begun over Mahsa Amini's death. Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi said that they must deal decisively with protests which have erupted in the country's 31 provinces.

Following he death of the 22-year-old in Iran, violence has spread over 80 cities in Iran and recently, the protesters clashed with the security forces in some parts of the country. Some women also took off their hijabs and burnt them in bonfires.
