<p>"Angus Cloud died from a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and benzodiazepine in what is ruled as an accidental overdose," a spokesperson for Alameda County Coroner's office in California told AFP.</p>

<p>"Angus suffered from acute intoxication from the combination of drugs."</p>

<p>A statement at the time of his death said Cloud, who portrayed laconic drug dealer Fezco "Fez" O'Neill in the multiple Emmy Award-winning series, had been struggling to deal with the recent passing of his father, and had experienced ongoing mental health issues.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend," said his family, in a statement sent by Cloud's publicist.</p>

<p>"Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence."</p>

<p><em>Euphoria,&nbsp;</em>fronted by star Zendaya, is one of the most-watched HBO series of all time.</p>

<p>The show has drawn controversy as well as plaudits for its dark depiction of the issues facing contemporary American teens, including drug addiction and sexual violence.</p>

<p>The gritty hit was Cloud's first acting job, having been discovered by a casting director while walking through the streets of Brooklyn, New York with friends.</p>

<p>Further in the statement, she wrote that his son was deeply hurt after the sudden death of his father. The post reads: ''Friends, I want you all to know I appreciate your love for my family at this shattered time. I also want you to know that although my son was in deep grief about his father's untimely death from mesothelioma, his last day was a joyful one.''</p>

He gave and received so much love and support to and from his tribe. His work in euphoria became a lightning rod for his generation and opened up a conversation about compassion.''</p>

<p>Before his sudden death, Cloud posted a photo of his father on Instagram and wrote, "miss u breh." A source close to Cloud's family revealed to ET that the actor was battling severe suicidal thoughts after he returned from Ireland, where he buried his father.</p>

<p>Actress Zendaya paid an emotional and loving tribute to her Euphoria co-star Angus Cloud on Tuesday (Aug 1). Cloud died on Monday at the age of 25. He gained popularity &nbsp;for playing Fezco in the teen drama that has Zendaya playing Rue.</p>

She posted a photo of Cloud and shared her memories of him in a post on social media.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor),” Zendaya wrote.</p>

<p>“I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it),” the caption on the photo read.</p>

<p>“I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…'they could light up any room they entered' but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it.”</p>

<p>She continued, “I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us.”</p>

<p>“I’ll cherish every moment,” she concluded the caption on her post.</p>
