<p>The decision came after an initial reluctance over the fear of Khalistan issue re-stirring.</p>

<p>Singh took to Twitter and announced his decision to meet Trudeau following persistent requests from the visiting delegation.</p>

<p>The state CM also expressed hope that the meeting would strengthen the close Indo-Canadian business ties as well as the deep-rooted people-to-people relations.</p>

<p>Justin Trudeau on Tuesday reiterated Canada&#39;s commitment to one united India and said his government was serious about cracking down on extremism.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Previously, Singh had accused Indian-origin members of Trudeau&rsquo;s cabinet of maintaining links with Sikh separatists.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last year, Singh had refused to meet the Canadian defence minister Harjit Sajjan on the same grounds.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Trudeau, who arrived in India on Saturday, is on a week-long state visit to the country.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He is scheduled to visit the Golden Temple today.&nbsp;</p>
