<p>A 2019 study published in the Proceedings of the US National Academy of Sciences found that Greenland’s glaciers are melting at a rate four times faster than previously estimated, underscoring the urgency of addressing climate change.</p>

<p>The US Coast Guard and the International Ice Patrol said that 2,265 icebergs were spotted near the Labrador region and that 2023 is the first year since 2019 to be more severe than the 'light' iceberg extent.</p>
