<p>In the wake of rebel factions taking over control of Syria, the US conducted airstrikes over the Islamic State terror camps in Syria, said the US Central Command (CENTCOM).</p>

<p>The operation included “dozens of precision airstrikes” and more than 75 targets were hit using Air Force assets like B-52s, F-15s and A-10s in central Syria, CENTCOM said in a statement.</p>

Israel launches attacks on Syria's Damascus, at least 15 killed

<p>The Israeli Air Force's (IAF) female fighter pilots took part in the retaliatory attack carried out on the Iranian military in the wee hours of Saturday morning (Oct 26).&nbsp;</p>

<p>A video and photos of the female fighters were shared by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) as they got down from F-15 and F-16 fighter jets after carrying out airstrikes in Iran.</p>

<p>In the images shared by the IDF, four female navigators, who took part in the operation carried out by Israeli Air Force squadrons, are seen getting out of the aircraft after the airstrikes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As reported by the Israeli military, dozens of Israeli Air Force aircraft - which included refuellers, spy planes and fighter jets - took part in the strikes which were carried out nearly 1,600 kilometres from Israel.</p>
