Since Friday evening, the Internet has been abuzz with speculations over star cricketer Hardik Pandya and model wife Natasa Stankovic’s divorce. The guesswork on the couple’s divorce started when Natasa dropped “Pandya” from her surname on her social media accounts.
After this, all kinds of theories started on why the two might be getting divorced by self-proclaimed investigators online, which are best to refrain from. However, something really fishy is going on between the two as per latest reports.
If we are to believe active social media users, the couple had not posted any pictures of each other recently and Hardik did not even post anything on social media on his wife’s birthday on May 4.
Some nosy cricket fans also suggest that Natasa hadn’t been seen recently during any of the IPL 2024 matches to support the Mumbai Indians player.
Adding fuel to the fire, the latest report speculates that Hardik could lose 70 per cent of his assets due to alimony if he gets divorced from his wife.
The scepticism over whopping alimony amount comes from the recent divorce case of another cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and wife Ayesha Mukherjee. Last year, Shikhar alleged that Ayesha forced him to make her the owner of the three properties that he bought in Australia whileshe was the owner of 99 per cent of one of the properties.
The court accepted Shikhar's allegations that Ayesha forced her to pay child support not only for their son but also for her two daughters for whom she already received support payments from her first husband.
Hardik had already been under a lot of scrutiny for the performance of his team Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League 2024, which he was heading as a captain.
Hardik Pandya had proposed to his then-girlfriend Natasa Stankovic on a yacht in January 2020 and the duo welcomed their first child Agastya in July 2020. They later renewed their vows at a ceremony in Udaipur on Valentine's Day last year.
