
The video of former Indian captain MS Dhoni went viral when he collected the ball from the umpires after the third One-Day International match between India and England. The incident sparked the speculations Dhoni will soon announce retirement from all formats of the game.
In the third and decider ODI that India lost to England by 8 wickets, MS Dhoni took the ball from the umpires instead of going back to pavilion straightaway.
The Twitterati abuzz with the rumours that MSD is planning to say a final goodbye from ODI and T20 forms of cricket as well.

However, India's current head coach Ravi Shastri denied all the rumours and said that MS Dhoni is not going anywhere.

While talking to a leading media house, Shastri also confirmed that Dhoni wanted to show the ball to India's bowling coach, Bharat Arun. He wanted to show him the wear and tear the ball had endured, to get a general idea of what the conditions were like.
India lost the ODI series 2-1 to England and currently, they are preparing to a four-day warm-up match against Essex at Chelmsford next week before facing England in the first Test at Edgbaston starting on August 1.
