Two Indian Army personnel, Major Kamlesh Pandey and Sepoy Tanzin Chhultim werekilled in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in South Kashmir's Shopian district today morning.
Their last rites took place this afternoon. Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, deputychief minister NK Singh was also present.

The Army patrol party was attacked by terrorists when they were conducting a cordon and search operation in Shopian's Zaiporaarea.
Three Army personnel were injured in the attack. They were rushed to the Army's 92 base hospital where Major Kamlesh Pandey and Sepoy Tanzin Chhultim lost their lives, PTI reported.
Earlier, in another encounter in Kulgam, two terrorists were killed by the security forces.
