Who doesn't like snow-capped peaks and an opportunity to stay in the open? Well, it's a possibility now.

The hill town of Manali in Himalayan state of Himachal Pradesh is now home to the country's first igloo properties. You can stay for two nights in the igloo, ski in the wilderness and make the most of a winter wonderland without burning a hole in the pocket.

Keylinga, an adventurer's paradise has built two igloos in Kullu valley. Covered in thick snow in extreme winter months, the property looks right out of a movie.

The igloo house is ideal for two people and offers a variety of winter sports to its inhabitants. In this, you can opt for a combination deal where you stay one night at a hotel and another in the igloo or with a host of camp site activities.

There are different price groups for different stays. But the simplest of them would cost you Rs. 5,600 which includes a single night stay and a short lesson in skiing. This stay includes meals, hot water bottles, ski equipment and warm feather-stuffed sleeping bags. They’ll even give extra fleece so you’re not found frozen in your sleep.
