Railway examination fees will be refunded: Piyush Goyal

Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday announced that railway examination fees incurred by the applicants will be refunded once they appearfor the examination.

Goyal announced that exam fee of Rs 250 for the exempted categories will be fully refunded to the applicants after they take the exam.

For the applicants appearing in the general category, Rs 400 out of the total fee of Rs 500 will be refunded.

According to the minister, close to 60 per cent of the applicants appear for the final exam.
