Man dies of sudden heart attack during turf cricket match near Mumbai’s Mira Road

A young man was playing turf cricket when he suddenly fell and died close to Mumbai's Mira Road.

In an undated video that went viral on social media, a teenager in a pink jersey was seen playing a rapid shot on a cricket pitch.

The young man unexpectedly collapsed to the ground as he was about to bat again, and teammates hurried over to help.

The players were seen trying to revive him, but the young man appeared to be unresponsive after collapsing on the ground. The whole thing was captured on camera.

The young man reportedly had a heart attack while playing turf cricket in the Mira Road area of Kashimeera. The young guy went down on the ground after hitting a strong six.

The Kashigoan Police have opened an inquiry into this incident. A company arranged cricket match, and employees competed against one another on the grass.

In recent years, the number of deaths from heart attacks among young people has increased. There have been some cases while playing cricket.

In January, a techie died from heart arrest while playing on a field. The man collapsed on the ground in the middle of the crease while running.
