Independence Day: PM Modi says India becoming voice of global south

People on social media forums are discussing whether or not it was his longest speech since 2014. Actually, it was not. His speech of 1 hour and 30 minutes speech was not the longest, nor shortest. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the government will launch 'Vishwakarma Yojana' in the month of September with an initial spending of Rs 13,000 crore to Rs 15,000 crore for those with traditional skills.

"India's capabilities is space technology are rising rapidly. Deep sea mission, modernisation of railways - Vande Bharat, Bullet train - we are working on all. Internet has reached village. While we are working on nano urea, we are also focusing on organic farming," says PM Modi in his Independence Day speech. 

"In coming years, it's Modi's guarantee that our country will rank among top 3 in the world in terms of our GDP," PM Modi said. 

"The government will launch Vishwakarma scheme with allocation of Rs 13,000 to 15,000 crores in the next month for those with traditional skills," said PM Modi during his Independence Day speech from the ramparts of Red Fort. 
 

PM Narendra Modi said, "When we came to power in 2014, we were at the 10th position in the global economic system. Today, with the efforts of 140 Crore Indians, we have reached the fifth position, This did not happen just like that. The demon of corruption that had the country in its clutches - we stopped leakages and created a strong economy."

PM Modi gives a message to youth on 77th Independence Day. "There is no dearth of opportunities in the country. The country has the ability to provide endless opportunities.."
