India on Thursday carried out "pinpoint strikes" inside Pakistan Occupied Kashmir(POK) using artillery and anti-tank missiles, reports said.
According to newswire PTI, the Indian Army carried out strikes on suspected terror launchpads inside POK after Pakistan military tried to push terrorists into India.
India's retaliation comes as Pakistan began targeting Indian positions along the Line of Control(LoC) through heavy firing as the Indian army hit back.
The Indian army had attacked a large number of Pakistan Army bunkers, fuel dumps and launch pads, killing at least seven to eight Pakistan Army soldiers, reports said
At least two civilians were killed in Kamalkote sector in Uri in Baramulla district and a woman was reportedly killed in Balkote area in Haji Peer sector of Uri during the firing by Pakistan forces.
