It doesnt take much for veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan to make someone happy.

Most recent example is that of Ranveer Singh, who got a surprise on Monday when he received a heartfelt handwritten letter from the legenadary actor praising him on account of his pwoerful acting display in "Padmaavat".

The epic movie hit theatres on January 25 and has ever since its release, earned Ranveer his fair share of accolades.

Film critics and viewers alike have enjoyed his acting on th big screen.

On getting the letter, Ranveer felt overwhelemed by the gesture and thus called the latter his 'award'. He took to Twitter to share a picture of the note and a bouquet that senior actor sent him after watching the film.

Ranveer wrote: "Mujhe mera award mil gaya (I have got my award) @SrBachchan."

Amitabh Bachchan also praised Ranveer and sent a handwritten note in 2015, after watching "Bajirao Mastani".

In "Padmaavat", Ranveer Singh was seen alongwithDeepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Jim Sarbh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Raza Murad.
