Irrfan Khan to have two releases in two different countries this week

He may not be in the country to promote his new film but Irrfan Khan is ensuring he is in public memory through his films. The actor, who is currently in the UK undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine tumour, will have two simultaneous releases this week - that too in two different countries.

The talented actor's black comedy Blackmail is all set to release in India on 6th April. Meanwhile, his film Hindi Medium, which released in India last year, will release in China on 4th of April.

China, where Indian films like Dangal, Secret Superstar and Bajrangi Bhaijaan have been doing consistently well, will have yet another film from India releasing in the country. Hindi Medium has already done well here in the country in 2017 with Irrfan even bagging the Best Actor award at Filmfare Awards this year.

Irrfan's other release, Blackmail is a comedy film directed by Abhinay Deo of Delhi Belly fame. The actor has been missing from the film's promotion due to his illness but insisted that the makers should not defer the release of the film.
