Civilian shot dead by terrorists in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir

A civilian was shot dead by terrorists in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday night (Apr 22). The slain has been identified as Mohammad Razak whose brother is working in the territorial army. Terrorists opened indiscriminate fire towards the house of Mohammad Razak in the Sharda Shrief area of Thanamandi in the Rajouri district.

Razak was critically injured in the firing incident and shifted to a nearby hospital. The doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead.

According to a senior police officer, Razaq, 40, was working in the Social Welfare Department. After the attack, Jammu and Kashmir Police along with the Indian Army and Paramilitary forces launched a massive search operation in the area to nab the terrorists involved in the attack.
