Non-local labourer shot dead by terrorists in South Kashmir

A non-local labourer on Wednesday was shot dead by terrorists at Jablipora Bijbehera in Anantnag, South Kashmir. He succumbed to his injuries.

Jammu and Kashmir Police said that terrorists fired upon a non-local labourer from Bihar in the Jablipora area in Bijbehara.The injured was rushed to the hospital for treatment, while forces cordoned off the area where the terrorist attack took place.

The injured was identified as Raja Shah, son of Shankar Shah, a resident of Bihar. As per locals, he was shot at from a close range and was hit by two bullets in his neck and abdomen.

The injured labourer succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital and was declared dead at the hospital.

Meanwhile, a massive search operation has been launched in the area, to nab the terrorists involved in the attack.
