In 2019, the BJP won nine out of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam, significantly improving its count from two in 2014.

The Congress managed to win three seats while the AIUDF settled for one.

The BJP also bagged an impressive vote share of 36 per cent while the Congress bagged 35.4 per cent of the votes.

With the announcement of the 2024 Lok Sabha election dates by the EC, we are fully prepared to serve the masses once again with support and cooperation from all sections,” Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh posted on X.
