Looks like Sidharth Malhotra has after all moved on from his breakup with Alia Bhatt.
Once lovers, the two made their Bollywood debut with the film ‘Student of the Year’ that also had Varun Dhawan. The film directed by Karan Johar proved to be one of the biggest successes of that year. Now, when Sidharth was asked if he was willing to work with ex Alia, he said that it would take a Karan Johar film to get them back together.
In an interview, Sidharth said, “People keep telling us that we should do a film together. But let's see. It's a matter of us getting the right script and a director like Karan Johar. Because only he can manage that. But now he's doing Takht. Everyone is busy with their own journeys.”
After doing ‘Student of the Year’, the two were also spotted four years later in another Dharma production, ‘Kapoor & Sons’ that did decent business. Meanwhile, the two kept dating while not talking about it in public. The two then broke up reportedly as news of Alia and Ranbir Kapoor’s hookup came to fore.
Sidharth said, “We started our journey together, we have done two films. Varun, Alia and I have a deep connect. We've shared many emotions and experiences together. So the bond will always remain.”
Meanwhile, Sidharth will next be seen opposite Parineeti Chopra in Prashant Singh’s ‘Jabariya Jodi’. He will thereafter begin work on Kargil hero Captain Vikram Batra's biopic, which is slated to be directed by Vishnuvardhan.
