
Surprise, surprise! Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to don the producer's hat for her next film Bangaram. On her birthday, she announced her next project on Instagram and shared a poster. In the caption, she wrote, "Not everything has to glitter to be golden. Something's cooking."
The poster shows Samantha holding a gun in a kitchen. With blood all over her face, she is seen aiming at someone with a fierce look in her eyes.
The film is being made under her banner Tralala Moving Pictures and is expected to have a multi-lingual release. Check out the first-look poster ofBangaram below!
Sharing key details about the project on X, trade analyst Ramesh Bala wrote, "On the occasion of her birthday today, pan Indian star #SamanthaRuthPrabhu announces her maiden feature film venture under her banner #TralalaMovingPictures. She released the motion and static poster. Tentatively titled #Bangaram, this Telugu film marks Samantha’s feature film debut as a producer. She will also be seen essaying the lead protagonist. The film is expected to have a multi-lingual release."
He added, "Whilst there aren’t any further details revealed, #Bangaram certainly looks like an earthy, gritty tale that will go on floor soon and is expected to hit theatres in 2025. Congratulations and Best wishes @Samanthaprabhu2."
Samantha was last seen on the silver screens in Kushi in 2023. After her myositis diagnosis, she took a break from acting. Currently, she is also gearing up for the release of Amazon Prime Original Series Citadel: Honey Bunny, alongside Varun Dhawan.
