On 15th anniversary of '13 Going On 30', Jennifer Garner gives a shout out to Brie Larson, Ariana Grande

Jennifer Garner looked reflectedon her 2004 hit film ‘13 Going on 30’ as it completes 15 years. In a major shoutout to all her co-stars, director, producer, Jennifer fondly remembered the romantic-comedy and what it gave to her career as an actress.
Jennifer played Jenna Rink in the film, a 13-year-old girl who wakes up 29-years-old and just about to turn 30. This was after she wished to turn 30 when she was humiliated at her birthday party. The film also stars Judy Greer as mean girl Lucy ‘Tom-Tom’ Wyman, and Mark Ruffalo, who plays her love interest and childhood best friend, Matt Flamhaff.
The sweet message included the name of her co-stars including Brie Larson and Ashley Benson, who had roles as girls in the popular group dubbed the ‘Six Chicks.’
She wrote: "Fifteen years ago today #13GoingOn30 made her debut, directed with ❤ by our beloved Gary Winick and a clutch of loving, hardcore producers (3 brilliant women -- before it was cool to be led by women!). The movie benefited from the performances of so many young actresses. Open and twinkly-magical then -- now, 15 years later, they are ruling the world. (Hi #SixChicks—@brielarson, @ashleybenson, @christabrittany -- who also played a young me in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past -- and my own sweet @revjuliaroth).”
She also mentioned Ariana Grande in her message as the singer recently paid homage to the film ‘13 Going on 30’ in her music video for ‘Thank U, Next.’
Jennifer wrote, "I feel so, so lucky to have had the experience of making this joyful movie," Garner wrote. "And even luckier to be part of something that, all of these years later, can still make people (hi, @arianagrande) smile."
Meanwhile, at the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ world premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, Brie who plays Captain Marvel in the filmtalked to ET about the impact ithad on her. She said, "I remember it was like the moment when I realized that I really wanted to direct. I remember paying a lot of attention to where the camera was and the camera moves, thinking about how I would have cut it together and then seeing the movie and seeing how it differed from what I thought."
Mark Ruffalo who is also in the ‘Endgame’ as he portrays the character Hulk, reflected on working with Garner on the film. He said, "We had the sweetest time. [Jennifer] was a big star then but I was kind of just starting out. She was just so lovely." These are the early reactions to the Marvel film.
