Neetu Chandra to celebrate International Women's Day in New York

On International Women’s Day, Neetu Chandra who supports several social causes is in New York as part of an invitation by the Indian Consulate in the city to be the chief guest and speaker.

On being part of the event, she said, "I feel so glad to be invited by the Indian Consulate in New York as the chief guest and speaker on the occasion of International Women's Day. It is special as this is an opportunity to get recharged, reconnected and inspired for a great and bright future. It is about never giving up on life and constantly striving for equality for women. I am really proud to be a part of this great event and look forward to it."

Neetu is a National award-winning producer and actor and an international sports player. The said event is being jointly hosted by The Consulate General of India, New York and The Federation of Indian Associations NY-NJ-CT.

Apart from this, Neetu recently featured in two successful music videos - Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s romantic single 'Banjarey’ and Rekha Bhardwaj’s romantic song  ‘Hui Main Tumhari’. She is also preparing for her next Hindi film called ‘Ladaaku’ which is under pre-production. It's under her banner ‘Champaran Talkies’.
