Kartik Aaryan's uncle, aunt among Mumbai hoarding tragedy victims; actor attends funeral

In a shocking turn of events, it has now emerged thatBollywood actor Kartik Aaryan's uncle and aunt had passed away in the horrific and unfortunate Ghatkopar hoarding collapse in Mumbai.The actor's relatives, identified as retired Air Traffic Control (ATC) officer Manoj Chansoria and his wife Anita Chansoria, were among the 16 deceased in the hoarding collapse incident.

According to reports, the two, who resided in Jabalpur near Mariam Chowk, were in their car when the massive hoarding collapsed on the petrol pump, hitting their car as well. Other than the 16 deceased, 90 peoplewere trapped under the hoarding amid heavy dust storms in Mumbai.

The couple were found three days after the incident. Their exact time and cause of death remain undetermined.

Kartik was seen attending the funeral of the relatives in viral photos. The last rites were held in Sahar Cremation Ground.

According to HT, Manoj and Anita were in Mumbai to complete paperwork for their visas to visit their son Yash in the United States. Yash last spoke to his parents on Monday.

On Thursday, the Mumbai Police arrested the director of Ego Media Pvt Ltd, the advertising agency that owns that billboard that collapsed, after a massive manhunt.

A total of eight teams from the Mumbai Police were dispatched to various locations to locate Bhinde who was finally tracked down in Udaipur.
