Mayor of Kingstown season 3: Jeremy Renner meets a new foe in trailer

With a new season set to drop in June, Mayor of Kingstown teased its official trailer for season 3. On the show, Jeremy Renner faces a new enemy after a series of explosions rock Kingstown and its citizens who have hadenough. The pressure then builds up on Mike McLusky (Renner) to end the war but things get complicated when a familiar face threatens to undermine the Mayor’s attempts to keep peace in the small town.

Jeremy Renner is back in business as a Michigan crime boss in the Paramount+ series.

Mayor of Kingstown also stars Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Nishi Munshi, Hamish Allan-Headley and Michael Beach.

The show is co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Dillon and is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions.

Season 3 of Mayor of Kingstown will premiere on June 2 in the US and Canada. It will roll out on June 3 in all other Paramount+ international markets.

Jeremy Renner returns to acting after a year

The new season of Mayor of Kingstown marks Jeremy Renner's comeback after he stayed away from acting for a year following his near-fatal 2023 snowplough accident. He was critically injured during the 2023 New Year's celebrations and was hospitalised for months before he could walk again. He was run on by a 14,300-pound snowcat at his home in Reno, Nevada. He endured38 broken bones and his rib cage was rebuilt with metal.
