Travor Noah is returning to host Grammy Awards, and this would be the last time. He hosted the show for the first time 2021, in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic.
Trevor Noah will be returning to the Grammy Awards as a host for the last time. The Recording Academy and CBS have announced that Emmy Award-winning comedian will return as host for the ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 1.
In 2021, Noah hosted the award ceremony for the first time, taking over for Alicia Keys. Since then, he has been returning to the award night as a host and also as a nominee.
Trevor Noah to host his last Grammy awards
On Tuesday (Jan 13), the Grammys announced the big news with a statement from executive producer Ben Winston.
Revealing that this would be comedians last gig as a host, Winston said,“I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time.”

He added, “He’s been the most phenomenal host of the show. He’s so smart, so funny, and such a true fan of the artists and music. His impact on the show has been truly spectacular, and we can’t wait to do it together one last time.”
Apart from hosting the show, Noah is also an executive producer.
The comedian, who is a four-time nominee for Into The Uncut Grass, a children's story in the best audio book narration and storytelling recording category.
Apart from Noah, singer Andy Williams is the only one who has hosted the Grammys seven times.
Grammy Awards: Venue, date and time
The 68th Grammy Awards will return to the same place, Crypto.com Arena on Feb. 1. The biggest night of the musical world will air starting at 5 p.m. PT on CBS and Paramount+.
Who all are nominated?
Kendrick Lamar leads the list of nominees with nine nods, followed by Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Leon Thomas, and engineer Serban Ghenea among others.
