Eddie Murphy weds longtime ladylove Paige Butcher in intimate Caribbean wedding ceremony

Eddie Murphy and Paige Butcher are now husband and wife. The famous actor, 63, and the Australian model, 44, got married on Tuesday, July 9, in a small ceremony in Anguilla. They were joined by family and close friends, according to People.

Murphy and Butcher have been together since 2012 and got engaged in September 2018. They have two children together: Izzy Oona, 8, and Max Charles, 5.

At the wedding, Butcher wore a beautiful lace gown designed by Mira Zwillinger. Murphy looked sharp in a white Brioni suit. This is Murphy’s second marriage and Butcher’s first.

Just a few weeks ago, the couple attended the premiere of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F in Los Angeles. They were there with Murphy’s daughters Bria, 34, Shayne Audra, 29, and Bella Zahra, 22, from his previous marriage to Nicole Murphy.

Murphy’s Beverly Hills Cop co-star, Judge Reinhold, told People that Murphy loves his family deeply. "He's crazy about his kids and his family. He's a family guy at heart," Reinhold said.

Butcher usually stays out of the spotlight but she spoke kindly about Murphy at the 2020 Golden Globes. Murphy said he whispered to her how wonderful she looked. Butcher added, "He actually says that kind of stuff all the time. He's very, very sweet and romantic."

Murphy showed his love for his family when he received the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the same event, thanking Butcher and his children for their "love and support."

In addition to Izzy and Max, Murphy has eight other children: Eric, 34, Christian, 33, Myles Mitchell, 31, Shayne Audra, 29, Bria, 34, Zola Ivy, 24, Bella Zahra, 22, and Angel Iris, 17.
