Is Salman Khan playing Chulbul Pandey in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again?

This seems like the Avengers of Bollywood. The number of A-list stars that are part of Rohit Shetty's Singham Again is awe-worthy. The film is the third part of the Singham franchise and also a part of Shetty's cop franchise. We already know that the film features stars like Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff. Now latest rumours suggest that Salman Khan is also going to be part of the Singham franchise.
Reports suggest that Salman Khan will be in a cameo appearance in the film. Khan will reportedly reprise the role of Chulbul Pandey from his hit film franchise Dabangg.
While there is no confirmation from the director or the actor about his inclusion, the news has created quite a buzz on social media.
Fans have greeted the report with much excitement. Theywere also quick to compare the Singham Again to Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Both the films are releasingin theatres during Diwali.
While some fans celebrated the two big releases, many others called this bad news for Kartik’s horror comedy. One user on X wrote, “Did I just read that Salman Khan is joining the Cop Universe? Ye toh Rooh Baba ke andar ki atma nikal denge #SinghamAgain #SalmanKhan.”
Expressing excitement about Salman’s possible entry into Rohit’s cop series, a fan shared,“If this "rumor" about #SalmanKhan joining #SinghamAgain is true then this could truly end up becoming one of the biggest films of all time for #Bollywood. But I'm gonna wait until its officially reported before getting excited. Bad news for #BhoolBhulaiyaa3. #BoxOffice.”
Salman Khan first appeared as Chulbul Pandey in Abhinav Kashyap's Dabangg in 2010. Since then the actor has reprised the role in two more films in the Dabangg franchise. None of them have been directed by Rohit Shetty though.
Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa too boastsof multiple stars. Apart from Kartik Aaryan, the film also stars Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit.
