Deepika Padukone was spotted on the sets of Singham Again recently.Leaked photos of the actress from the sets surfaced online on Wednesday. Deepika is expecting her first child with her husband Ranveer Singh in September this year. Singham Again is the third film in the Singham franchise and part of Rohit Shetty's cop universe.

Deepika was seen dressed as a cop in the leaked pictures from the sets. Singham Again also stars her husband Ranveer Singh who will reprise his role as Simba in the film.

Deepika wore a police uniform with her hair tied in a neat bun. She also had sunglasses on to complete the ‘cool’ look. Fans were surprised to see her return to work after announcing her pregnancy in February. Her baby bump wasn't visible in the photos. The photos were shared by Zoom.

“Isn't she pregnant,” asked a fan on Twitter. “She still can shoot till whenever she feels comfortable,” defended a fan. Another asked, “Mother isn't mothering yet?”

About Deepika's role in Singham Again

Deepika plays Shakti Shetty in Singham Again. It is a new character in Rohit Shetty's cop universe. The film has Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Singham, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Tiger Shroff along with Ranveer Singh.

The film brings together all the major names from Rohit Shetty's cop universe. Earlier, Deepika and Rohit had shared a poster featuring Deepika as Shakti. Arjun Kapoor plays the villain in the movie.

Deepika's pregnancy

Earlier in February, Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy. The news came days after her appearance as a presenter at the 77th BAFTA Awards. Rumours of her pregnancy surfaced when the actress was photographed covering her midsection at the BAFTA red carpet.

Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in 2018 at Lake Como, Italy.
